I’m here, I’m here – sorry blog readers….

I have had a REALLY busy couple of month with weddings, TONS of boudoir, rocknroll bands as well as delicious newborns!

I promise there will be a bunch of new images posted very soon. One thing I love about being a Vancouver wedding and portrait photographer, are sometimes escapes to other cities – haha. I just got back from San Francisco this week, so please – enjoy this photo while I gather some of my favorite images to share with you.

Being a destination wedding photographer has taken its toll this month – on my dog!!! Someone needs a hair (or 2) cut!

You can take a wedding photographer to a wedding, but you can’t take the camera out of her hand

OMGGGGGGGG!!!!! This past Sunday, was one of the most special days EVER!!!

One of my best friends Bridgette got married to her love Biff. I was so excited and thrilled to attend a wedding with all of my closest friends.

A time to celebrate and enjoy the union of such a wonderful couple. There was an official wedding photographer who did an amazing job (I was watching closely) but yipiee – I got to enjoy myself!!!

I will say, I just couldn’t help myself sneak and snap a few detail shots because they were just AMAZING!!!

Bridgette did it all herself (with help from the ladies ) and it was sooooooooooo Bridgette.

The wedding was at an amazing venue in LA

such an amazing job on details and then the wedding… i cried – of course

Biff walked down with his children. They all looked AMAZING!!!

and then the beautiful Bridgette… stunning..STUNNING!!! my gorgeous friend, I LOVE YOU TO BITS!!!!

so pretty…now let the party begin!!!!

and Rick + Paige (remember they got married at Frank Sinatra’s house in Palm Springs)

If you know me at all – I am the BIGGEST GLEEK!!!! I was starstuck when I saw my crush, Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams)

I’ve never seen her happier and more beautiful then on her wedding.

I loved the father/daughter dance. Especially Em’s sparkly chucks!

and of course my friends!!!

Hi blog readers,

Again, I apologize for being m.i.a . I have once again been racking up airmiles and jetting round the globe.

Tomorrow I will find myself happily settled back in Vancouver (at least til early June). I hope Whiskey remembers who I am and isn’t too mad at me.

Yesterday at one of my besties’ got married. They had the BEST photobooths I have ever seen, so I grabbed my gals and took to the other side of the camera

Gentle Hands Art Auction | for the love, of the poor

A friend of mine is moving to the Philippines at the end of the year to continue her work with Gentle Hands.

Located in Manila, Philippines, Gentle Hands is a welfare agency that help at-risk children and youth with their medical, social and educational needs.

Caring for children all in various stages of rehabilitation from abuse, neglect and / or poverty, it is the only center in the Philippines that will take children with physical disabilities and the only registered facility that will take undocumented children.

Tracey is an amazing friend that always goes above and beyond. Being a photographer in the wedding industry, she was able to organize photographers and other creatives to help her raise funds to begin the building expansion project of Gentle Hands.

The expansion will house many more children, have classrooms and nursery space, along with administrative rooms for the increasing size of the orphanage.
