When Lori and Ryan plan a party - they do it up right!!!!!  This Saturday in Fernie, BC - was the wedding of all weddings!!!!

With Nathan looking his best, he learned how to walk this week to specifically go down the aisle he told me!!!

You may have seen my  friend/bride/mortgage broker, Nicole on my blog before - (you may recognize her from her wedding here) Well, she has started a “day of ” wedding co-ordination business!

This is FANTASTIC!!!! Not only is she the perfect person for this job, because she has been through her own wedding (and also hired a day of) , but she attends more weddings (as a guest) then i think I do in a summer!!!!!

Having a ‘day of’ for your wedding is a MUST HAVE in my opinion.  Just someone there to have the day run smoothly, move the flowers from one location to another, tell you when to walk down the aisle and to SMILE when doing it!  the little details and the most important!

(P.S. She’s also a mortgage broker - so after you get married, and are looking for your first house…and you want her to become your BFF as she did mine - have her be your mortgage broker -  this is one stop shopping!!!)

I went to my dentist yesterday (the VERY , VERY,  BEST dentist in the whole world Dr. Sherri Wise) and she said to me as she was gazing into my mouth with a very sharp dental object… “I didn’t see the photos from Eden’s 1 year birthday on your blog ?! “  scared as could be - I started disagreeing with her and saying they are posted, they are posted… but much to my dismay - I think I had only posted them on my facebook fanclub site not here on my blog for the world to see!!! my bad!

I’m sooooooooo SORRY to EDEN and Sherri and Guy! Here they are!!!

WOW! WOW! WOW! is all I can say!

As KISS would say: “You wanted the best - YOU got the best!!!!!!!”

Shaadi is a rockstar, and one of my FAVORITE people in the whole world!!  He wanted this day to be PERFECT for his bride, Kira, and PERFECT IT WAS!!!!  With all the Creme de la Creme players in place - this is how the day unfolded!

Trying to choose just a few images to blog - turned into about 100 images for this post. I’ll give you just a taste of yesterdays fantastic wedding!

The day started at one of my favorite venues…

the ceremony was short but sweet, allowing for over 2 hours of photos (and the time just flew by)!!!!!

maybe, it’s because the paparazzi was chasing Shaadi and asking him for photos and autographs every 2 seconds!

The Marine building is “the office” for Shaadi - but, During the 1930’s it was the first “modern” skyscraper in the city and it’s got a gorgeous entrance.

We ran into April, (who I met at a dinner party @ my past bride Nicole’s place, (their photos were being photographed by the wonderful Sherri Koop)

then back to the Vancouver Club for a spectacular dinner, speeches, cake cutting, chocolate fountain and of course, much dancing !! The flowers, lightshow, decor were done by no other then the FABULOUS SIMON COOKSLEY (love him!)

Shaadi’s own  ‘fan club’ - fun, right?!   bwahaahhahaha

I can’t believe how the time FLEW by!  I love you both and much happiness and good luck doing it alllllllllll over again in Alberta next weekend.  Sorry I can’t be there - but, I’m editing away so you have a wonderful slideshow to present to the fine folks out there.  xox

I was kinda bummed about not working a wedding for the long weekend. It’s been 15 years since I have been without a wedding that weekend. Then I got EXCITED to have the long weekend off -wow- that NEVER happens!!!!!!  Then the universe provided me with many many options to fill it… and I am out of my mind excited!!!!!!!
