If you know me at all - you know I’m a bit of a shop-a-holic! Well, here I go again!I have just purchased a studio in my hometown, the Nation’s capital - Ottawa, Canada. It feels soooooo good to be home after 15 years. Whiskey is there for the summer holding down the fort until the summer season ends in Vancouver. We are just collecting airmiles. We are now booking weddings in Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal (and all surrounding areas!)fun!!!! We like commuting, we just can’t sit still!!!! :)
Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!
check me out! I’m featured on the Blog of Photogs — too cool!!!
Thanks Mary !!
I love, love, love, getting mail.
I mean actual mail, I love email too but there is nothing like a card or note that someone took the time to write out and construct for you. - I get enough bills and flyers, so this somethin somethin is always super nice to get.
I got a whole wack of flyers and bills upon my return as well as some special little cards…
I’ll blog about this fabulous vedor now.

Please ring her up, and for somethin somethin special of your own give her the code - hubbard ![]()
After 13 years of dating, many challenges, and highs and lows… the perfect date for a wedding was set for Keith and Helen. The family Church where his parents were wed, was the venue in Vancouver.
I just love the details…
I must say, the Dubick family is pretty good at throwing a good bash!
Hailing from Edmonton, where there is currently snow on the ground, we had to take advantage of the beautiful Vancouver day, weather and beach.
Finally wed, spring is in the air!
What a fun celebration! All the best and as well, a special thanks to the grooms parents, Sheila and Myron.
as well, A Day to Remember wedding consultants for making this event run so smoothly and look gorgeous! Nice to work with you!
Oh sweet, beautiful Mel. Words can not describe how happy I am for you and Sacha. I just can not wait to meet this beautiful angel that you have created.
I first met Mel when she hired me to photograph her wedding to Sacha. (Click here to see some snaps of this wedding of all weddings!) Wow, what a gorgeous, spectacular wedding day that was!
I first photographed her and fiance (now husband) Sacha, as she was the maid of honor at Alexandra and Don’s wedding - another spectacular event! and now I am so blessed to call her a friend, and now share in her life with her expanding family.
She is just glowing isn’t she?! STUNNING!!!!
of course, Jet Ranger, their pup, had to share the spotlight.
woof.. who’s in there?!
On her wedding day, I had visions of one day wrapping her spectacular St. Pucchi veil around the newborn, so we practiced with Mel’s belly. Pretty isn’t it?!
My guess is it’s a boy, and born by the 22 of the month. Anyone else?!
oh and a big thanks to my ‘assistant’ (C. Jones) for these snaps of Mel and I!
much love to you! xx
With most of my clients, I develop very special friendships and lasting bonds.
I didn’t meet Mary Ellen until the week of her wedding as she lived/lives in Panama. (see here for the wedding photos and here for the engagement photos.) After many emails back and forth, I knew we would have a blast on her day.
When we did meet - I fell in love with her, her children, and her family.
I just wanted to share a little slide show from her fabulous wedding. She has yet to choose her photos from the 1,200 I gave her….so I thought I would choose some of my fav’s that documented her wedding to Matthew.
